Statutory purposes

The social cooperative “Grumen” was established on 09/08/2021, with the prevailing purpose of carrying out a series of activities of cultural and social animation and participation in the territory of reference, as well as with the desire to offer tourist-cultural services aimed at improving the enjoyment of the cultural scope of Basilicata, with particular attention to the needs and requirements manifested by weak segments of the population.

The corporate structure includes expertise in all areas considered critical to the start-up of the business and the development of the proposed initiative, such as administrative, technical as well as social/cultural aspects, guaranteeing the cooperative’s oversight of all technical and organizational aspects of the initiative.

The cooperative has a mutual purpose, and aims to pursue the general interest of the community in human promotion and social integration of citizens, through the performance of the activity constituting the object aimed, with separate managements, at the implementation of the following:

  1. Management of social, health and educational services referred to in Art. 1(a) of the Law of November 8, 1991 no. 381;
  2. to the job placement of disadvantaged people, referred to in Art. 1(b), of the Law of November 8, 1991 no. 381.

The cooperative thus achieves the social solidarity purposes described above, while at the same time making its cooperative members achieve employment opportunities in the third sector. specifically, the purpose that the worker-members intend to pursue in their individual sphere is to achieve, through management in associate form and the performance of their work for the benefit of the cooperative, job placement and continuity of employment with the best economic, social and professional conditions; and in the social sphere, that of achieving purposes of social solidarity and support of families and disadvantaged people in the areas of social and socio-health care, health care, charity, to ensure the best conditions of life in moral, social, material terms and to prevent, reduce and remove situations of need, risk, marginalization, and social distress, therefore, there being a functional link between the activities of type (a) and those of type (b) referred to in the aforementioned law.

The cooperative, with reference to and in accordance with its mutual purpose, and the interests and requirements of its cooperative members has as its object:

  1. Pursuant to Article 1 paragraph 1 (a) of Law no. 381/1991:
    • Liaison activities between citizens’ needs and institutions;
    • Entertainment activities and recreational, cultural, sports initiatives, suitable for achieving the social purpose;
    • Educational, training, museum, school and extracurricular support activities for minors and adults targeted by the social purpose;
    • service activities such as the management of socioeducational spaces and any high logistical support;
    • research activities, organization of conferences, study seminars, performances, printing activities, digitization and graphic and video production, and documentation activities aimed at raising awareness of social and cultural issues and citizens’ problems;
    • Training, refresher, qualification and/or retraining activities for personnel in social welfare and tourism;
  2. Pursuant to Article 1 paragraph 1 letter b) of Law 381/1991:
    • Promotion of handicrafts in their various forms, and marketing of related products;
    • Organization and management of tax assistance centers and patronages;
    • cleaning and maintenance services of buildings of all kinds, including offices, factories, schools, institutions, public and private, stores, studios, nursing homes, sports facilities and private homes, roads, parks and gardens saia public and private, their sweeping, washing, care and maintenance both ordinary and extraordinary;
    • Disinfection, pest control, rodent control, remediation and sterilization services for public and private areas of all kinds;
    • road weeding service, management and maintenance of greenery in general, both public and private, and gardening and green maintenance works of all kinds, including the management, maintenance and restoration of gardens, both public and private, and artistic and historical parks;
    • monitoring, management, safeguarding, surveillance and any other action aimed at the protection and/or maintenance of forest heritage, both public and private, and trees in general, both in protected areas and/or natural and nature parks of all kinds including river, lagoon and alluvial areas;
    • activities of preparing, serving food, including home delivery, including the acquisition and operation of canteens, restaurants, bars and hospitality activities in general;
    • Road haulage service of persons and/or goods on own account and for hire or reward, subject to the issuance of statutory licenses, provided the conditions are met;
    • The organization and management of all services, as well as the provision of all goods related to industrial, environmental and ecological hygiene regulations in general;
    • stray and non-stray dog catching service, and live animal transport;
    • Kennel and/or cattery management service and cann and/or cat boarding in own and/or third-party facilities;
    • Organization and provision of environmental services of all kinds, such as, but not limited to, remediation and restoration of degraded areas and environments, environmental impact surveys and studies, management of maintenance service, diagnostics, recovery and technical-environmental control of natural heritage, such as gardens parks and coastlines, architectural, historical and artistic heritage, such as monuments and works of art,

In pursuit of the social purposes, the cooperative may carry out other initiatives useful for the achievement of the same, particularly seeking positive cooperation with public and private entities, with special regard to social cooperatives in the area, voluntary associations, and those others who have commonality of objectives with the social purposes of the cooperative.

Our activities

Grumen Social Cooperative , with reference to and in accordance with its mutual purpose, and the interests and requirements of its cooperative members, has as its object:
1. pursuant to Article 1 paragraph 1 letter (a) of Law no. 381/1991:
– Liaison activities between citizens’ needs and institutions;

In pursuit of the social purposes, the cooperative may carry out other initiatives useful for the achievement of the same, particularly seeking positive cooperation with public and private entities, with special regard to social cooperatives in the area, voluntary associations, and those others who have commonality of objectives with the social purposes of the cooperative.
grumen- social cooperative society intends to carry out a series of activities of a tourist-cultural nature aimed at enhancing the cultural attractions of the target area, art and culture in general. specifically aims at the digitization of reality and the integration a lle usability of digital content, both online and offline. every intervention proposed by grumen-society social cooperative aims to emphasize users’ emotions.
cooperative members intend to propose technological solutions for 3d graphic reproduction of environments of cultural interest, original reconstruction of works or their animation. said activity pursues a twofold objective: the integration of the web with virtual reality tools, such as state-of-the-art visors and/or monitors that allow both to increase the expressive potential of the promotion of archaeological sites and to create new appeal and value through the proposal of new interactions and services (experiences) for users.
grumen-social cooperative society proposes a collateral and functional activity to that of museums and archaeological sites. in particular:
1. for archaeological sites, a 3d graphic reconstruction activity of the original scenarios is proposed. the relative usability can be summarized as:
– images for communication (print, web);
– 360° images for digital enjoyment (web, touch monitor and info point);
– 360° images and videos for virtual reality (info point, immersive experience).
2. for museums (artworks and frescoes) there will be reconstruction and reproduction in 3d graphics of the artworks. we refer specifically to reconstructed artworks7 digitized and then usable as:
– images for communication (print, web);
– Short animations of paintings rf artwork (web. monitor);
– 3d scanning 3 d printer printing of statues and artifacts to produce a product for industrial reproduction of tourist souvenirs.
3. for all sites/entities: in addition, it is envisaged that virtual environments for both online and offline digital exhibits will be created.2
in detail, the cooperative aims to pursue the general interest of the community by carrying out the following activities:
– The management of cultural and artistic activities, recreation and socialization;
– carrying out actions aimed at local development;
– territorial animation and education: management and animation of public and private spaces intended for recreational, educational and leisure activities;
– Training, research, data collection and processing activities;
– environmental, agricultural, cultural, historical and social education activities by stimulating local communities to active citizenship;
– Management of various occupational activities aimed at social and labor reintegration;
– design, implementation, publicizing and marketing of products, services and various initiatives with a view to enhancing and protecting cultural and environmental heritage, etc.
